Gavrinis Scarf
Gavrinis Scarf
Fantastic design! This beautiful scarf is made of 100% silk crepe de chine fabric that falls gracefully around the shoulders; its size and long shape at 17 x 84" makes it a versatile wardrobe accent. It is beautifully hemmed with excellent neat corners. It is signed in the print by artist and calligrapher Ann Miller.
This pattern is inspired by the ancient stone carvings at Gavrinis in Brittany, France dating from over 6,000 years ago. I think the neolithic people must have filled the long chamber not only with their beautiful carvings but with resonant voices as they gathered, chanted and imagined vivid colors.
I hope you will purchase and enjoy this beautiful scarf!
This item ships directly from the fabricator: DPI-SF, South San Francisco, California. Dry cleaning preferred, to protect color.
